After the themed dinner, my fellow team members anonymously evaluated my performance with respect to the night of the dinner and the semester in its entirety. On a scale of 5, I scored a 4.4, 4.4, and 4.6 in “participation,” “preparation,” and “reasoning, communication and ability to apply information,” respectively. This supports my strong work ethic, and ability to critically apply my leadership skills to guarantee service excellence and first-in-class customer experience. Please see below for specific statements my team members made regarding my professionalism in the workplace.
“All during the event, Mike was in a chef’s coat helping with whatever tasks the kitchen need. He did so flawlessly, knowing the ins and outs of the kitchen and applying his knowledge to best serve the customers.”
“Mike built a great relationship with Chef Harold, and was well-respected by the rest of the kitchen staff, which allowed both our team’s and Chef Harold’s team’s goals for the dinner to align and to be accomplished.”
“Mike was able to work effectively with group members and arrived ahead of many team members on the night of service. His help was crucial in preparing the dinning hall.”
